The M-word

It’s been a few days, and the internet has exploded in the wake of Havok’s possibly poorly written monologue in the latest issue of Uncanny Avengers. I’ll just publicly say now that I don’t yet have an opinion on the issue. I have problems with “assimilation.” I have serious problems with detractors of the “Call me Alex” stance. If the minority/majority question here was simple, it would be shitty writing. I have no opinion, and I’ll just say that until I have one the hoopla has me yawning at best, irate for no reason at worst. Get serious. But also get loose enough to argue identity politics in the same world where people punch buildings over the horizon.
